Engine Collection No. 1 - Vintage Mills .75

Mills .75 Happily running after just two flicks of the propeller.

After clamping the Mills .75 securely into the test stand and filling its tank with fuel I primed the head and after just two flicks of the propeller it burst into life and preformed faultlessly until the fuel ran out. A perfect example of quality engineering from a bygone era.

All further engine testing had to be temporarily postponed due to the brief appearance of a baby hedgehog. This little chap was wandering indiscriminately in and around the pits area so after a brief photo session he was carefully transferred to a safer part of the field.

Here he is, all 120mm of him, tiny!!

No, my other side is my best side!!

Free at last...
